Description

Aid work is increasingly delivered in collaboration between international and local actors. This requires adaptation of security risk management approaches and tools for such collaboration to ensure a safe working environment for all. At present there is a lack of discussion about security risk management between international and local NGOs, and lack of guidance around how to approach risk-sharing. These workshops aim to challenge conceptions, demystify key aspects of equitable partnerships, and enable improvements in collaboration on security risk management.

Over two days, GISF will be running two workshops, on the theme of Ensuring risk sharing and equitable security risk management for all aid actors: working with local partners and staff. The workshops will be organised by GISF and Insecurity Insight, with the support of AIDEX.
