Join GISF

Find out more about becoming a member, associate, affiliate or business partner by clicking the links below.

Members & Associates

Organisations can join GISF under two categories.

Membership is reserved for organisations at the core of GISF’s vision and mission – operational INGOs for which effective security risk management is a prerequisite for effective programme delivery. GISF Members should demonstrate a commitment to the ‘Code of Conduct of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief’ (see below) or a similar declaration.

Associate status allows other organisations working in the public interest to support GISF’s vision, for a reduced fee. Unlike members, associates have no voting rights with regards to GISF’s governance.

Affiliates

Individuals and organisations with experience supporting humanitarian security risk management, who don’t meet the requirements for membership or associate status, are invited to join our network as affiliates.

Business partners

Our Business Partnership Programme is open to private corporations seeking to have a meaningful and sustainable impact on over 100 humanitarian organisations through strategic and financial engagement.
