South Sudan NGO Forum: Half Yearly Report – January to June 2017

This report is intended to provide a sense of the overall security situation for NGOs working in South Sudan, both at the national level and more locally across the country between January and June 2017.

It was produced by the South Sudan NGO Forum to form a basis for initial security and safety analysis when planning trips to the field to implement humanitarian activities.

The content aims to give an overview of the security situation in the six-month period that could affect NGO operations in various parts of the country.

It is intended to directly support NGOs in the delivery of humanitarian assistance to vulnerable South Sudanese people across the country.
