Writing the Rights: Highlighting the International Standards on the Right of Victims of Armed Violence

This report (2013) argues for a greater awareness to the need to protect people that were the victims of armed violence. A first section introduces both the project and provides some background information, with the following section going into greater depht on analysing a number of areas relevant to the circumstances in which armed victims of armed violence live. In this section there are chapters on Equality and Non-discrimination, access to justice, awareness raising, torture, rendition, health, among others. Furthermore, it includes an annex providing all the relevant international law and policy sources.
