Description

To gain awareness and confidence as a female traveller is the core objective of Global Risk Advice’s one day safety for female travellers training.

The majority of the security challenges of men and women serving INGO’s are the same. Women are not necessarily more vulnerable than men, but they do face other kinds of risks, that requires specific attention.

To address these gender related risks Global Risk advice have developed a Female traveller training. This training will be facilitated by women who have an extensive experience in living overseas and as travellers.

The whole day is focusing on encouragement and solution finding.

Topics:

  • Preparing for travel as a woman
  • Situational awareness
  • Cultures and boundaries
  • Revealing the patterns of a sex offender
  • Handling sexual assaults
  • Recovering from incidents
  • Adequate reactions in several scenarios
  • Physical resilience
