Intensive, dynamic hostile environment awareness training to learn and apply approaches and measures to improve your personal security.
This fully residential three-day course is an intensive, dynamic hostile environment awareness training (HEAT) where you will discuss, learn and apply approaches and measures to improve your personal security when living and working in insecure environments. Personal Security for Humanitarians has been designed specifically from an NGO perspective to provide the most relevant and challenging training for NGO workers. Essential theory learned in the classroom will immediately be put into practice in real-life simulation exercises.
Please note that you will be required to arrive in the late afternoon (4th April) of the day before the training for registration. The course fee includes three nights of accommodation, full board at the venue and you will be expected to depart after the course closes on day 3 (7th April). If you require to stay for an additional night, please email RedR UK on email@example.com and they will help with the booking, but you will need to pay extra directly to the venue.
This venue, the Fire Service College, provides basic accommodation on site as well as food (all included in the fee). The accommodation will be in individual rooms in compliance with RedR UK’s COVID-19 biosecurity protocols.
