The report details the progress made between 2018 and 2020, particularly recognising new practices and procedures established to tackle this problem and improvements in whistleblowing policies and protections.

The report also details the safeguarding gaps and challenges still present in 2021, and key areas for improvement.

The report ends by urging FCDO to operationalise its commitment to push for change and to “stamp out” sexual exploitation and abuse within the aid sector.
