This advanced Personal Safety training is delivered online. It covers the key learning objectives of a Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) course, but without the simulations or face-to-face interaction. When combined with an ILS one day SAFA/HEAT Refresher course, PSAT can be converted to a full HEAT certification.

The course is instructor-led and delivered in a multimedia format over 5 sessions covering:

  • Personal Safety & Security
  • Mitigating Threats
  • Situational Awareness
  • Communications
  • Travel Safety
  • Weapons Awareness
  • Abduction
  • Mental Health
  • Basic Life Support

The programme is recommended to organisations who have groups of staff working in fragile security contexts.
