GISF will be present at HNPW again, leading several sessions on security risk management
Since 2015, Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW) has been providing a critical platform for exchanging ideas to address key humanitarian issues. One of the largest humanitarian events of its kind, HNPW gathers participants from the United Nations, NGOs, Member States, the private sector, the military, academia and beyond to discuss and solve common challenges in humanitarian affairs.
This year, from 17-28 March, the Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF) is pleased to be partnering with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to lead on the subject of Integrating Security Risk Management In Humanitarian Action – one of nine areas of common concern for HNPW.
The first week of HNPW (17-21 March) will take place online. On the second week of HNPW (24-28 March), GISF will be present in-person at the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland. We will be present at several sessions on security risk management and will also have a booth (number 62) at the event, where you can come and meet GISF staff and help yourself to free copies of our great resources, including our latest report.
All sessions are being updated at the HNPW website as they are developed, so please keep your eyes there for the latest and to register your place. We hope to see you online and in Geneva!
