With recent resourcing and funding challenges hitting the NGO sector, GISF is increasing its vacancies listings to support those looking for new work opportunities.
The Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF) provides a wide variety of resources for those in the NGO security risk management community. But one of our most popular assets is our vacancies webpage. This is where we list the latest jobs and internships from across the NGO security risk management sector.
Last year, the vacancies page was the most popular page on our entire website. It received over 31,000 views.
In light of recent resourcing and funding challenges in the sector, GISF will now expand our vacancies listings. This means we will aggregate and share a greater quantity of vacancies for security roles. And we will also expand the kinds of vacancies we list, to include safeguarding roles, UN jobs, and more.
We hope the growth of this asset will be helpful for those in the NGO security risk management community in this difficult time. We also encourage you to share any relevant vacancies directly with us through our vacancy submission page.
GISF exists to support NGOs in challenging moments like this. We are here to support any collective effort. If there’s more you think we can do, please reach out to christian@gisf.ngo to discuss your idea.
