One Day Travel Safety and Security Training

Travel can be incredibly rewarding, but it also carries risks. Organisations have a duty of care to prepare
and support staff who travel for work. This one day course builds confidence and practical skills to plan safe
journeys, assess risks and respond effectively when situations change.

Designed for travel to low and medium risk locations, the training uses realistic scenarios and practical
tools that strengthen safe decision making and situational awareness.

Participants will learn how to:
• Strengthen personal safety and security
• Assess risk and apply practical mitigation measures
• Improve situational awareness and recognise early warning signs, including aggression
• Stay safe in accommodation and on the road
• Respond to specific threats
• Maintain health, wellbeing and resilience while travelling
• Increase awareness and understanding of sexual violence risks

Training is delivered in small groups to ensure tailored support and high engagement. Sessions are fully
live and include:
