We specialise in helping NGOs and donor-funded entities navigate the risks their staff face as they conduct their work. We currently assist NGOs in DRC, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and South Africa among others, and we have previously worked with the NGO sector in Kenya, Sierra Leone and South Sudan. Previous clients have included:

  • A governance and democracy non-profit building capacity within the anti-corruption space

Maravi was founded by Tim Neill and Mark Douglas, COO and CEO, in 2014, before which they worked for a global risk management firm. We employ 4 Malawian nationals full-time, and we also have a trusted and vetted network of international risk managers and advisors. The company is registered with the Malawi Ministry of Home Affairs and the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC).
