Description | With violence against aid workers on the rise and impunity pervasive, protecting humanitarian workers is an urgent priority on the global agenda. This session will examine the policy commitments that promise to reverse current trends, from the UN Security Council Resolution 2730 to the newly formed Ministerial Group, and delve into how they may translate into action. The discussion with reflect on the practical realities of keeping humanitarian staff safe and the joint efforts needed to address the growing security risks.
