We're pleased to announce our first major commercial partnership since the launch of our 2030 Strategy

The Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF) today announced a new strategic partnership with Track24, to support the protection of aid workers worldwide.

GISF is an NGO network of almost 160 humanitarian, development, environmental and human rights organisations, dedicated to enabling them to more safely and securely reach the communities they serve.

The agreement is the first major commercial partnership since the launch of GISF’s 2030 Strategy, which recognised that the commercial sector plays a key role in the ecosystem that allows aid workers to safely carry out their work.

Track24’s support will enable GISF to continue strengthening the risk management capacity of NGOs. This includes hosting and expanding the largest repository of NGO security resources, facilitating global knowledge exchange, and engaging with governments.

Executive Director of GISF, Jon Novakovic, said: “When you look at the nature of the threat environment and its direction of travel, it’s clear that the expertise and resources found within the private sector will become more vital. From drones to cybercrime, there are fast-moving, highly-technical threats that place significant demands on organisations that prioritise their Duty of Care to staff.”

There were over 1,000 recorded aid worker deaths from 2023-2025, triple the previous three-year period.

“NGOs want to build partnerships with forward-looking suppliers who share their values and understand their needs. What struck me about Track24’s leadership team was their willingness to learn and respond to how NGOs manage risk in high-threat environments. We’re proud to be building these relationships, and we hope Track24 is the first of many,” Novakovic said.

Andrew McInerney, CEO of Track24 said “We’re proud to be partnering with GISF at a time when NGOs are operating in increasingly complex and high-risk environments. We are deeply familiar with these operating environments, and know that caring for your team is essential, risk and incident management are non-negotiable, and communication cannot fail. Our focus is on precision: making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time, so organisations can act quickly and with confidence. Just as importantly, this partnership is about listening and learning from the sector, so we continue to build technology and deliver service that reflects the realities of operating in the field.”

Notes to editors: GISF is headquartered in London. Its membership includes major organisations such as HALO Trust, Oxfam and Save the Children
