GISF’s Autumn Forum, will be taking place in Brussels, Washington, D.C. and virtually on 20th, 21st and 22nd September. We have spread the event over 3 days in response to feedback from the last forum. Day 1 and 2 will be hybrid, day 3 will be fully virtual.
The GISF Autumn Forum is designed to provide an opportunity for GISF Members to learn from one another and engage in deeper discussion and learnings on critical topics related to humanitarian security risk management. Whilst this Forum is is primarily designed for Global and Regional Security Leads, we encourage our members to share this invitation with all relevant colleagues within their organisation.
The theme of GISF’s 2022 Autumn Forum is collaboration.

In Person Specifics
Brussels
Location: Transforma BXL, Avenue Jules Bordet 13, 1140 Brussels.
Accommodation: The GISF Secretariat will be staying at Gresham Belson Hotel Brussels.
Reception: We will be hosting a small reception after the first day of the forum, at the venue listed above (Transforma Brussels). As in previous years we are also looking at booking an evening meal for after the reception on the first day, we will be in touch about with more information about this in the coming weeks.

Washington D.C.
Location: Ronald Reagan Building, Pennsylvania Ave., NW Suite 700 Washington, DC 20004
Accommodation: We have reserved a room block at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center, which you can access more information on here (this link will be live until August 22nd). The rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis, so make sure to book in as early as possible.
Reception: Following the first day of the forum, in Washington D.C. we will be hosting a social at Elephant & Castle, Washington D.C. This social will be open to GISF members, prospective members, business partners, affiliates, and network friends. If you would like to invite other colleagues from within the sector, you are welcome to share this interest form.
