| Description | Is your organisation ready to support an individual’s loved ones when something bad happens? Successfully working with families during incidents or crises can make all the difference; to them, to the individual affected, and to your organisation’s reputation. When a crisis occurs, a Crisis Management Team is activated to coordinate the response. Alongside this, someone may be needed to support the family or emergency contact of the person involved , whether that is a friend, partner, parent or child. This role is essential: it provides families with timely, sensitive and compassionate communication at the moment they need it most. Family Support acts as the bridge between the organisation and the people most personally affected, helping them navigate uncertainty and ensuring their needs and concerns are heard. This training equips participants to: Understand how Crisis Management Teams operate and where Family Support fits |
