One Day Travel Safety and Security Training (open course)

Travel can be incredibly rewarding, but it also carries risks. Organisations have a duty of care to prepare and support staff who travel for work. This course helps build confidence and practical skills to plan safe journeys, assess risks, and respond effectively when situations change.

Designed for travel to low and medium‑risk locations, the training uses realistic scenarios and practical tools to strengthen safe decision‑making and situational awareness.

Course content includes:
• Personal safety and security
• Risk assessment and mitigation
• Situational awareness and recognising aggression
• Accommodation and road safety
• Responding to specific threats
• Health, wellbeing and resilience
• Sexual violence awareness

Delivery:
Small groups (max 8), live, interactive learning using real scenarios, including:
Group work | Case studies | Practical tools | Trainer‑led discussions
