| Description | We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced Security Adviser to contribute to the effective safety and security risk management of Danish Red Cross operations overseas. The Red Cross is the world’s largest humanitarian organization and we are looking for a Security Adviser for Danish Red Cross, to support the Senior Security Adviser to roll out the DRC Security Framework and associated processes in the field, supporting long term and rapid deployment staff overseas, focusing primarily on operational support to the field and training. You will deliver training at different levels for relevant stakeholders within the organisation, both in Denmark and overseas. You are expected to undertake security support missions to the field where DRC is operational, according to the need, as well as attending other relevant RC/RC Movement trainings and meetings, but will otherwise be HQ (Copenhagen) based. This is not open to negotiation. The position is placed within the Operations Unit, which consists of 19 staff supporting the Danish Red Cross strategic engagement, localisation and operation in the 20 Countries where Danish Red Cross has bilateral presence in Africa, Middle East and Norther Africa and Europe/Asia.
