Description | Securing adequate funding for humanitarian security is critical to ensuring safe and effective operations in complex and volatile environments. However, the allocation of donor resources to security measures often competes with other priorities, creating challenges in striking the right balance between safety and programme delivery. This hybrid panel discussion will bring together representatives from the UN, NGOs, and donors to explore strategies for optimising donor resourcing to enhance humanitarian security. This session is organised by GISF and the UNHCR Field Security Service as part of Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW). You can attend either in-person in Geneva or online. How to register
If you have any questions about GISF’s sessions, registration or HNPW, please reach out to Alyssa Thurston (alyssa@gisf.ngo). |
