At least 192 attacks on Sudan’s health care system have been documented by Insecurity Insight between 01 January-06 September. In these incidents, 28 health workers have been killed and health facilities have been damaged at least 42 times. Vital medical supplies have been looted, and patients deliberately obstructed from accessing health care.
