Description

With American forces withdrawing from Afghanistan, the future of U.S-Pakistan relations is uncertain. This event will draw on the perspectives of those that have focused on Pakistan while serving in the U.S. government. The event will consider to what extent Afghanistan will continue to be a focus of the relationship; what factors might shape the relationship’s trajectory post-Afghanistan withdrawal; what prospects there may be for broader cooperation beyond security; and how the relationship can be positioned constructively moving forward.

Please note: this event will be online only. There will be a live webcast on their webpage linked above. You may submit questions for the panelists by emailing asia@wilsoncenter.org or posting them on Twitter and tagging @AsiaProgram.
