The Tough Stuff (2018) is a series of guidance notes put out by CARE Canada’s Safety and Security Unit that addresses some of the uncomfortable and important safety and security issues facing our staff. This document covers both organisational measures (for HR, logistics and safety & security) as well as personal preparatory measures to be taken in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of aid workers during menstruation.
