Description | 1- To understand the proactive security and basic field measures taken before, during and after a field mission in a hostile environment. Mainstreaming security into mission planning. 2- To enhance the resilience of personnel in dangerous environments by knowing how to manage critical incidents and traumatic stress, how to conduct humanitarian access negotiations with non- state actors, ambush/active shooter, roadblocks & checkpoint behavior, riots, prevention and reaction to landmines, kidnapping, and firefighting in the field. 3- To be able to act as a team member within a team, how to coordinate and be able to communicate horizontally and vertically in situations exposed to a direct ongoing threat. 4- To provide Tactical First Aid in remote and hostile areas by applying the TECC memo technical M.A.R.C.H procedure, prevent avoidable deaths and buy time for the injured. Being able to deal with massive bleeding, open pneumothorax and sucking chest wounds, obstructed airways, severe burns, fractures, and extraction from danger.
