About the GISF Podcast:
Featuring conversations with expert speakers, the GISF podcast addresses major security challenges and questions in the NGO sector.
In a global context complicated by protracted conflicts, climate change, and public health emergencies, we ask: what does the security and safety of aid workers look like? And what might it look like in the future?
In each episode of our podcast, we introduce a conversation on a key topic for NGO security – from the localisation of aid, to digital risks, and much more. These conversations are enriched by expert guests spanning security professionals, humanitarians, and more.
About this Episode:

Matt spent several weeks in Jordan and Lebanon during the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. During his time in the region, Matt was seconded to the Lebanon Humanitarian INGO Forum.
